    Synopsis: 1943. Garnet Montrose (Michael Biehn) revient chez lui affreusement défiguré, après avoir combattu à Guadalcanal. Il va essayer de reconquérir son amour d’enfance (Maureen Mueller) avec l’aide d’un mystérieux vagabond (Patrick Dempsey). Petit à petit, ce dernier tombe amoureux du soldat.
